Important facts about our wrinkle treatment

The most gentle treatment is the pleat injection with so-called fillers, ie injectable filling materials. The filling substance can be used to polish deep wrinkles (for example, the nasolabial fold between nose wings and mouth angles) from the inside or to smooth skin parts such as cheeks, neck or the eye region.

In addition, lips and cheeks can be made more voluminous. In contrast to the facelift, our approach is a wrinkle treatment without surgery. The procedure is carried out exclusively by specialists with many years' experience when booking through SwissBeautyMed. We do not offer alternative procedures, such as a laser-applied wrinkle treatment, - a significant disadvantage of the laser method is that the first visible results only occur after a considerably longer time than during the under-injection with Filler. Also after peeling applications, treated persons have to wait several weeks before the skin has completely regenerated.

A wrinkle treatment can of course be supplemented with a liposuction on the same day. Eyelid correction (eyelid tightening) can also be performed in combination with the wrinkle treatment.

The stay for wrinkle injection

A session takes about 15 to 30 minutes. You can leave the selected specialists or beauty clinic immediately after the injection.

Facial treatment without anesthesia

Anesthesia / anesthesia is not necessary with the use of botulinum toxin or hyaluron, since the treatment is carried out without scalpel sections and is practically painless.

Botulinum toxin or hyaluronic acid for wrinkle Treatment?

In rejuvenation surgery (anti-aging) as a discipline of cosmetics, there are two mainly practiced methods for wrinkle treatment. Which of these is preferable depends, among other things, on which region of the face is to be treated.

Botulinum toxin

Botulinum toxin inhibits the transmission of nerve stimuli to the muscles. Since the substance only acts on the muscles in question, mimic wrinkles are smoothed without changing the facial expression. Botoxum toxin is injected into the botulinum toxin by means of a very fine needle. As with any injection, side effects such as inflammation, infection, redness, and pain may occur. Irrespective of this, treatment with botulinum toxin involves risks such as hypersensitivity reactions, local muscle weakness, headache and dizziness. A further list of possible side effects can be found on the Swissmedic specialist portal by entering the active substance botulinum toxin (VISTABEL). The duration of the treatment is limited to 4 to 7 months. The treatment can be repeated - but at the earliest 12 weeks after the previous injection and when its clinical effect has subsided.

hyaluronic acid

Hyaluron occurs in almost all of our tissues. What makes it an active ingredient for wrinkle treatment is its enormous water-bonding capacity. The hyaluron is injected under the affected skin areas where it fills the wrinkles and gives the skin more volume, tension and elasticity. After treatment the effect lasts approximately 8 to 12 months. If the result lasts, you can repeat the procedure as often as you like, thus giving you a permanent permanent

What kind of treatment is suitable for my problem folds?

In general, botulinum toxin is suitable for the under-injection of facial folds. Cross folds in the front area as well as laughter boxes can be corrected in this way. Hyaluronic acid, on the other hand, is primarily used for deep wrinkles - as already mentioned, for example, in the lateral folds between nasal wings and lips. In any case, you should always consult a qualified specialist.

Recovery time after wrinkle treatment

Immediately after injection, slight swelling may occur at the areas treated. In addition, you should protect your skin after wrinkle treatment for one or two days before persisting sun exposure.

Mutual trust

Because mutual trust is very important to us, we offer you the opportunity to meet us in a free and non-binding consultation to discuss the conditions of a possible pleat injection. Please contact us to make an appointment - we look forward to seeing you!

Note: Since the wrinkle injection as well as the face lift (with very few exceptions) is a purely cosmetic measure, the costs are not covered by the health insurance company

Good to know about wrinkle treatment ...

The injection of botulinum toxin is the first choice for wrinkle treatment in the treatment of moderate to severe glabellaflaps in adults, also known as wrinkles. In the lower third of the face, liquid implants are the first choice for wrinkles. As a liquid implant, hyaluronic acid is used that is injected with a fine needle under the skin. The liquid implant is completely decomposed after 8 to 12 months.
